This meeting marked Dr. Murat Sari’s final Journal Club before completing his postdoctoral training in the T32 program. As a stroke physician, Murat brought valuable clinical insight to our epidemiologic discussions. We thank him for his contributions and wish him continued success in cerebrovascular research and patient care.
The meeting also featured Joshua Garfein’s dissertation practice presentation on educational attainment and hypertension. As an MD-PhD student, Joshua will return to medical school after his dissertation defense. The session provided an excellent opportunity for constructive feedback and further strengthened his scientific communication skills.
