Postdoctoral trainee Andrea Kozai, PhD, received a Professional Development Award from the University of Pittsburgh Postdoctoral Association (UPPDA) at their annual Postdoctoral Research Symposium on April 15, 2024. Her poster was titled “Health Behaviors in Pregnancy are Associated with Biomarkers of Placental Health and Function” and was recognized in the Behavioral Sciences category. Over 125 postdocs from Pitt and UPMC participated in the event, and the award came with a $500 prize for future professional development expenses.
